Hey everyone! So we had a handful of new people show up today. Very cool. This semester is very important for this club and the honor society. We really need people to step up and get involved.

I am asking everyone to do two things at this point:

Come to the next meeting if you possibly can, we need everyone to meet each other and to discuss what we are going to do in the upcoming year. You need to sign the roster if you want to be in the club.

Second, figure out who on campus we can approach to setup some speakers for this year. If you just have an idea, please let us know. Even better, approach them and see if they would be interested.

We have a new website up: www.unrlinguistics.org. please free to give it out / announce in classes.

If you are interested in Sigma Tau Delta, check out the requirements on our website.

The next meeting is going to be in the JSU in two weeks on a saturday in the evening for people who work/cant get out of classes. I will send out the room as soon as it’s confirmed. We need someone else to do some class announcements too, so email me if you are brave enough to volunteer. We are an open group of people guys, if you have ANY idea for events or things that the club should try out this year let me know!
